Summary

About the Position: Incumbent serves as a Senior Traffic Management Specialist on the International Movement Operations Team assigned to the G3. Provides technical assistance and guidance to team members on matters associated with the planning, directing, monitoring and assessing cargo movements, but on non-routine matters that require seasoned judgment and adaptation or deviation from existing policy outlined in DOD, Joint, and command regulations and instructions.

Duties

Is involved in every aspect of the branch specifically when it comes to facilitating the movement of cargo during peacetime, exercise and wartime operations.

Develops and streamlines International Movement Operation training objectives and professional development.

Coordinates port operations and monitors cargo movement operation execution through various C4I systems.

Assists with the development of SDDC regulations, policies and procedures for support of ongoing operations.

Provides multi-modal guidance, planning, execution and monitoring of transportation and port handling/management in support of contingency and humanitarian/emergency/disaster relief operations globally.
