As a Supervisory Management and Program Analyst, you will manage operational teams, evaluate work processes, analyze data, and make recommendations for improving operational and employee performance.

Duties

Perform qualitative and quantitative analysis of initiatives through the use of analytical tools and methodologies to provide solutions to broad problems.

Provides technical and administrative supervision to the unit by establishing and carrying out action plans in order to accomplish Division goals and objectives.

Conducting studies, analyzing findings and making recommendations on program operations.

Promotes a creative environment that inspires team members to develop ways to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of operations.

Manages teams and coordinates with other unit supervisors and peers to establish objectives, priorities and deadlines to formulate plans that meet substantial changes in workload.

Distributes work assignments to staff to best utilizes their skills and experience while also ensuring developmental growth.

Interpret laws and regulations to resolve issues in their application and develop policies in accordance with them.

Adjusts work operations as needed to meet changing priorities or production requirements within the organization.

Carries out Office of Equal Opportunity and Inclusion (OEOI) policies and program activities by communicating support of these policies to subordinates and encouraging their active participation.

LOCAL COMMUTING AREA: This job is for individuals who currently reside within the local commuting area or, if selected, are willing to establish their permanent residence within the local commuting area of the announced duty location(s) you are applying for. Residency Requirement: There is a residency requirement for all applicants not currently employed by U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services. This residency requirement states that candidates must have, for three of the last five years immediately prior to applying for this position; (1) resided in the United States; OR (2) worked for the United States Government as an employee overseas in a Federal or Military capacity, OR (3) been a dependent of a U.S. Federal or Military employee serving overseas. Supervisory/Managerial Probationary Period: You may be required to serve a twelve-month probationary period upon appointment to this position. You may also be required to complete an appropriate supervisory training course within one year of assignment to this position.
