The primary purpose of this position is to serve as Logistics Readiness Squadron (LRS) Deputy in a squadron with more than 341 funded authorizations supporting a large installation with a joint operations mission. With the commander, the incumbent oversees the complex, numerous, and varied day-to-day support activities that the LRS provides installation-wide to HQ PACAF.
Duties
As deputy to the commander, plans, organizes, and oversees the day-to-day support activities that the Squadron provides to the installation, US Army Alaska, Headquarters Pacific Air Forces. Exercises supervisory personnel management responsibilities. With the LRS Commander, directs, coordinates, and oversees the work of more than 341 personnel through subordinate supervisors. Represents the LRS with a variety of installation and functional area organizations. Participates in special projects and initiatives and performs special assignments to include long-term planning, functional technical advice and guidance, and continuity of management. Identifies the need for special projects and initiates milestones and goals.
