The primary purpose of this position is to advance AFLCMC's ability to acquire, develop, support and sustain Products and Services by generating logistics solutions and supporting personnel. This position exercises second or third level logistics supervisory and managerial authorities for an assigned AFLCMC Directorate organization.
Duties
Plans, organizes, and oversees the activities of the organization, ensuring that logistics management operations comply with legal and regulatory requirements and meets customer needs. Plans logistics management workload to be accomplished by subordinates, sets and adjusts short/long-term priorities, and prepares schedules for completion of work. Participates in special logistics management operation projects and initiatives and performs special assignments. Represents the organization with a variety of installation and functional area organizations. Meets with key customers and coordinating officials to assess customer satisfaction, explain organization policy and procedures, and resolves significant problems that arise.
