About the Position: This position is a DOD Cyber Excepted Service (CES) personnel system position in the Excepted Service under 10 USC 1599f. Employees occupying CES positions are in the Excepted Service and must adhere to U.S. Code, Title 10, as well as Department of Defense Instruction 1400.25. This position is located at the .Regional Cyber Center - Europe Wiesbaden, Germany.
Duties
Serves as the technical expert/authority and project manager responsible for serving as the Chief, Regional Cyber Center - Europe Cyber Security Branch and for the Regional Cyber Center - Europe wide cybersecurity policy and planning.
Serves as the technical lead for Regional Cyber Center - Europe cybersecurity.
Serve as a project manager, leads Regional Cyber Center - Europe efforts to develop long-range plans for Information Technology security systems.
Ensures that Information Technology automated system design and developments, involving both in-house and contractual efforts, comply with Department of War and Army cybersecurity requirements and leads other in system changes and modifications.
Plans, develops, implements, and manages Regional Cyber Center - Europe programs, policies, and procedures to protect the integrity, confidentiality and ensure the availability of Information Technology automated systems, networks, and data.
Development, coordinates, and maintains Regional Cyber Center - Europe Risk Management Framework (RMF) packages.
Provides advise and guidance pertinent to cybersecurity program policies, guides, and standard operating procedures during all stages of the automation process.
