Summary

As a Supervisory Equal Opportunity Investigator (CRTIU) at the GS-1860-13, you will be part of the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, serving in one of the agency's District, Field, or Area Offices, depending on the selected duty location. If selected, you will be responsible for providing technical advisory services related to intake to subordinate staff and serving as the initial point of contact for Charging Parties.

Duties

Supervises and provides substantive investigative, technical, and administrative guidance to staff of the intake unit, including investigators fully dedicated to the unit and investigators on rotational assignment.

Directs, coordinates, or oversees work of subordinates or ensures work is performed through other enforcement supervisors and the team in carrying out the mission of the EEOC.

Oversees the initial assessment of all new charges, focusing on the appropriate categorization of charges following the Priority Charge Handling Procedures (PCHP), as well as the identification of the Commission and District priorities.

Evaluates performance of subordinates and provides input for performance evaluations of all investigators who serve on Charge Receipt and Technical Information Unit (CRTIU) rotations.

Serves as the primary point of contact for substantive technical questions from the public, employer community, or other stakeholders.
