Duties
Leads, manages, directs or is responsible for acquisition activities either directly, or in support of DoD funded acquisition efforts. Exercises supervisory personnel management responsibilities at least 25% of the time. Delivers presentations on acquisition program status, accomplishments, problems/analysis/solutions, requirements for support and promotion of program objectives to senior military officers and civilians in another program offices. Represents the program office at higher levels within the organization and contractor organizations. Works in conjunction with the contracting officer to approve terms and conditions set forth in contract negotiations, contracting plans, budgets, and changes to the scope of work to be done by the contractor.
