This is a public notice flyer to notify interested applicants of anticipated vacancies. Applications will not be accepted through this flyer. Duties
You will guide employees on issues related to a sexual assault prevention and response program.
You will serve as point of contact for senior management, faculty, or staff regarding sexual assault response programs.
You will complete risk assessments and documentation for case review.
You will develop reports, information papers, talking points, briefing packages, or other Sexual Assault Prevention and Response (SAPR) program information for senior leaders.
You will provide victim advocacy services and crisis intervention support for adult victims of sexual assault.
You will perform complex assessments using trauma-informed approaches for reports of sexual assault.
You will implement risk screening protocols and provide assistance to victims in securing treatment requested by the victims.
You will inform victims of resources available to report instances of sexual assault and provide victim tailored comprehensive referrals of resources to include victim advocacy, legal, and medical/mental healthcare.
Education
Applicants must meet the following basic/positive education qualification requirements of the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualifications Standards Manual:Applicants must possess: Degree: behavioral or social science; or related disciplines appropriate to the position. OR Combination of education and experience that provided the applicant with knowledge of one or more of the behavioral or social sciences equivalent to a major in the field. OR Four years of appropriate experience that demonstrated that the applicant has acquired knowledge of one or more of the behavioral or social sciences equivalent to a major in the field. In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:Applicants may substitute the following education for the required specialized experience, provided it demonstrates the knowledge, skills and abilities necessary to do the work of the position: GS-11 Successful completion of a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree in a related discipline appropriate to the position OR Successful completion of 3 years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a Ph.D. degree. OR A combination of experience and graduate education as described above that equates to one year of experience. GS-09 Successful completion of a a master's or equivalent graduate degree in a related discipline appropriate to the position OR Successful completion of two full years of progressively higher graduate level education leading to a master's degree. OR A combination of experience and graduate education as described above that equates to one year of experience. A transcript must be submitted with your application if qualifying using education.
