Duties
Reviews all operations, mobility, contingency, and exercise plans to ensure combat readiness for the SF Squadron.
Responsible for proper security, classification, and storage of classified documents.
Oversees the coordination, review, and implementation of SF manning authorizations and military personnel assignments.
Serves as the SF commander's key staff member responsible for the overall management of the unit-training program by overseeing the planning, organizing, directing, operating, and evaluating all unit training related items.
Serves as the subject matter expert and consultant to the unit commander on all matters pertaining to the availability and management of the SF training program to meet the needs of the organization and mission.
Develops, administers, and oversees the management of the unit's training programs to supervisors.
Directs the certification testing (CERTEST) program.
Forecasts and submits Deployment For Training requirements in coordination with SF commander to ANG NGB/ A7.
Conducts unit self-inspections and assessments.
Plans, formulates, analyzes, and coordinates budget submissions.
Represents SF at wing training meetings.
When needed or directed, performs and enforces the full range of security forces duties within the military installation.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Education
To receive credit for Education, you must provide transcripts or documentation of proof that you meet the Education requirements for this position. You may combine education with specialized experience to meet the length of experience requirement for GS-09. Such education must demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the line of work. For the GS-09 level: To qualify on education alone applicant must have one of the following: master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.B. or J.D., if related. Only graduate education in excess of the amount required for the next lower grade level may be used to qualify applicants for positions at grade GS-9 including qualifying with combination of education and experience. To receive credit for Education, you must provide transcripts or documentation of proof that you meet the Education requirements for this position.
