Summary

You will serve as a Security Specialist in the Corporate Business & Analysis Group, Security Department of NAVAIRWARCENWPNDIV CHINA LAKE.

Duties

You will provide essential daily support across a broad spectrum of functional areas including communications, information, physical, international, industrial, and personnel security.

You will ensure the seamless coordination of command security requirements across all levels of security, including Special Access Programs (SAP), Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI), and collateral classified information.

You will actively gather and understand complex operational requirements from command leadership, accurately interpreting DoW and local security policies to ensure mission objectives are met compliantly.

You will lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of comprehensive, command-wide Security Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

You will manage the response to all security incidents and electronic spillages, guiding immediate containment actions, overseeing information gathering for Command Preliminary Inquiries, and identifying root causes to prevent recurrence.

Education

In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience: At the DA-04 Level: Successful completion of a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree OR Successful completion of 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree OR Possession of an LL.M., if related A transcript must be submitted with your application if qualifying using education.
