The primary purpose of this position is: To serve as Chief, Minot Air Force Base, Special Security Office; Chief 5th Operations Group Security/PRP office; Chief 5th Bomb Wing Nuclear Command and Control Extremely Sensitive Information, (NC2-ESI).
Duties
DUTY 1 - Administers and implements the Nuclear Command and Control Extremely Sensitive Information (NC2-ESI) program. Ensures required program management responsibilities and actions are completed in accordance with governing CJCSIs, AFIs, and DoD directives. DUTY 2 - Executes and enforces compliance with the organization personnel security program. Interprets AF, DoD, and national regulations and laws for Personnel Security processes as they apply and are implemented within the organization. DUTY 3 - Serves as the organization's representative for Industrial Security issues. Maintains an in-depth knowledge of multiple customer missions in order to facilitate the protection of classified and SCI access as required by contract performance. Maintains detailed records on all supported industrial security activities. DUTY 4 - Administers the Physical Security Program for the organization. Uses comprehensive knowledge of the integrated organization's mission to advise commanders and or involved parties on security facilities/equipment/alarm installation, maintenance, and use. DUTY 5 - Serves as security program specialist executing and enforcing compliance with operational, functional, and mission assurance aspects of an integrated information security program. Enforces operational, functional, and mission assurance aspects of the program for the Information Security Programs.
