Summary

About the Position: This is a Program Specialist position with the Detroit District, US Army Corps of Engineers.

Duties

Applies a thorough understanding of the many aspects of District operations and functions necessary for assessing and executing the full and efficient application of the Corporate Automated Information System, P2.

Works with Project Managers, Program Analysts, technical managers, and functional chiefs to ensure all projects are identified and correctly entered into the P2 system.

As the Network Analysis System expert for the District, establishes policies and procedures for Project Managers and other PDT members on the best business practices needed in order to establish project schedules.

Serves as a local Primary Local Configuration Manager (PLCM) for P2.

Develops the District's overall project management plan to ensure a uniformity of project management processes for P2 data entry and reporting for District programs.
