The primary purpose of this position is to serve as a Program manager responsible for performing the full range of analytical tasks relative to planning, programming and budgeting matters, technical studies, automation projects and statistical studies as they relate to the Air National Guard (ANG) Weapon System Sustainment (WSS) Program.
Duties
Develops, interprets, implements and reviews budget policies and procedures for the Air National Guard Weapon System Sustainment (WSS) Program. Performs ongoing evaluation and analysis of the execution in the planning, programming, and budget actions in support of Major Air Force mission and operational plans. Actively participates in strategic planning to improve organizational direction and focus using strategic planning tools and techniques. Prepares and delivers oral presentations such as briefings, training sessions, consultations, and strategy sessions with other headquarters, staff service functions and activities, and field echelons and units, to secure cooperation, resolve controversial matters, and convey information relative to proposed changes in assigned programs.
