Summary

About the Position: This position serves as Prevention Coordinator for Pine Bluff Arsenal in Pine Bluff Arkansas and develops and administers installation wide prevention and education programs.

Duties

Develops and administers installation wide Army Substance Abuse Prevention (ASAP) and education programs, including plans of instruction, lesson plans, training schedules, policy coordination, and compliance with requirements.

Plans and directs prevention training programs by developing curriculum, overseeing training for designated unit representatives, coordinating with support staff, and using available education resources to ensure effective instruction.

Conducts public and community awareness initiatives, collaborates with civilian and military organizations, and prepares informational materials and presentations to support ongoing prevention outreach.

Serves on the Installation Prevention Team and supports program resource requirements, providing input for budget and manpower planning, assessing needs for prevention materials, and maintaining educational reference resources.
