Summary

This is a public notice flyer to notify interested applicants of anticipated vacancies. Applications will not be accepted through this flyer. Duties

You will provide instruction to small and large groups on issues including prevention and awareness of domestic abuse, child abuse, and problematic sexual behaviors in children and youth.

You will conduct educational workshops for Service Members and their families on issues including stress management, anger management, and healthy relationships.

You will conduct training for commanders and senior enlisted personnel on requirements and procedures for reporting options, resources available to support families at risk, and their roles in the coordinated community response.

You will provide outreach activities and events to promote community awareness of issues including Domestic Violence, Child Abuse, and Teen Dating Violence.

You will provide education to raise awareness of the support offered by the Navy’s Family Advocacy Program.

Education

Applicants must meet the following positive education qualifications requirements of the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualifications Standards Manual: Applicants must possess: Successfully completed a behavioral or social science degree, or a degree in a related discipline appropriate to the position being filled. OR Combination of education and experience that provided knowledge of one or more of the behavioral or social sciences equivalent to a major in the field. OR Four years of appropriate experience that demonstrates knowledge of one or more of the behavioral or social sciences equivalent to a major in the field. If you are using education to meet all or part of the qualification requirements, you must submit a copy of your transcripts or an itemized list of college courses which includes equivalent information from the transcript (course title, semester/quarter hours, and grade/degree earned) in your resume.
