Duties

As a Physical Security Specialist, you will: Develop and implement training programs for SOC personnel and provides ongoing training on security protocols, technologies, and best practices. Develop a daily blotter ensuring all incidents are captured; reviews investigative statements for accuracy; obtains witness statements; and prepares final reports with recommendations. Conduct oversight of assigned security staff, provides overwatch of guard operations, and reviews guard force investigative statements for accuracy. Develop and periodically implements emergency action and response plans; reviews internal and external response plans, procedural manuals, employee education programs, and emergency drills. Utilize command and control systems, UHF radios, WebEOC, and mutual aid FM channels to ensure adequate notification and response operations meet CDC security requirements.
