As an Operations Support Specialist, you will provide a wide range of management and administrative services essential to the effective operation of the organization; assists management in administering policies, procedures, and operational requirements.
Duties
The responsibilities described are for the full performance level. At developmental grade levels, assignments will be of more limited scope performed with less independence, and limited complexity.
Provide a full range of Human Resource (HR) advisory services to management officials and employees, including but not limited to employee benefits, workers compensation, staffing, awards, reasonable accommodations, and time and attendance.
Serve as HR liaison between the agency and headquarters, internal and external customers, and recruiting resources.
Advise management and personnel on administrative concepts, laws, regulations, policies, and exercise confidential judgment.
Research and advise on significant personnel program changes or developments and recommend changes to improve service.
Provide guidance and recommendations to management on Labor and Employee Relations (LER) issues.
