Duties
Serves as the Operations Branch supervisor synchronizing and integrating logistical concepts, and bulk petroleum distribution methods, practices, and techniques across INDOPACOM.
Provides oversight and coordination of region operations, in addition to customers, supplier support, operational plans, international agreements, and contracting.
Serve as the subject matter expert in all supply chain health issues spanning the five DLA Energy sub regions as well as the exercise compliance and assessment program manager.
Plans and directs the development of bulk petroleum logistics supporting planning for contingency and wartime operations.
Responsible for using metrics and to regularly align work efforts to contribute to organization objectives.
Perform supervisory functions which include but not limited to planning work to be accomplished by subordinates, evaluating work products, setting deadlines and approving training to ensure mission accomplishment.
Participates in military deliberate planning groups or teams.
Education
Substitution of education may not be used in lieu of specialized experience for this grade level.
