Duties
United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) Asylum Headquarters Knowledge Management and Communications Branch (KMC) manages the clearance process for the Asylum Division. The Branch coordinates internal and external communications as well as maintaining knowledge management structures to improve adherence to policy and procedure. KMC is seeking a Management and Program Analyst to join the small team in a new role focused on writing and editing. Description of Position Responsibilities: - Reviews and edits documents submitted for divisional and agency clearance to ensure clarity and conciseness, proper formatting, and compliance with plain language principles. - Assists in drafting internal communications in alignment with divisional plans, goals, and objectives. - Provides input to the Asylum Division's strategic communications planning process. Note: This assignment may be performed from your current employing federal office anywhere in the United States. This assignment does not confer any telework privileges.
