Summary

This position is located in the Farm Service Agency, Oklahoma State Office, Idabel, McCurtain, OK. This position provides support and assistance to the Farm Loan Managers and Farm Loan Officers that perform a range of lending activities, closing, disbursement, monitoring, liquidating, and servicing of agricultural loans.

Duties

Provides support and assistance to the Farm Loan Chief, and Farm Loan Specialists, and County Offices that perform a range of lending activities, closing, disbursement, monitoring, liquidating, and servicing of agricultural loans.

Under the direction of the District Director and the Farm Loan Manager, works collaboratively with Farm Loan Officers and loan staff.

Performs analysis, evaluation and advisory assignments related to the effective delivery of loan making and servicing activities.

Assists in the formulation and implementation of farm loan programs, policies, and procedures for the assigned farm loan area.

Works with customers to assess their needs and provides information or assistance in resolving their issues.

Communicates with borrowers regarding loan status, status of pending requests, and standard loan fund policies and procedures.

Provides technical advice and assistance on less complex matters concerning loan making.

Identifies, analyzes, and makes recommendations to resolve conventional problems and situations in farm loan making.

Reviews, evaluates, and independently completes preliminary underwriting for loan cases.

Requirements

You must be a US Citizen or US National. Males born after 12/31/1959 must be Selective Service registered or exempt. Education

College Transcript: If qualifying based on education, you must submit a copy of your college transcript with course number and department (i.e., Bio 101, Math 210, etc.), course title, number of credit hours, and grade earned. Your transcripts must be in English or include an English translation. You may submit an unofficial copy of your transcript at the initial phase of the application process.
