We need your expertise! Located in the Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO), the Business Product Delivery Office (BPDO), the Patent Product Delivery Branch (PPDB) implements technical business solutions for the Enterprise Business Units and other business units, including Patents and Trademarks. This is a term position not to exceed 2 years. This appointment may be extended without further competition to the maximum of 4 years.
Duties
The physical worksite for this position is located in Alexandria, Virginia. Presence at the Alexandria, VA campus is required for this role, as it includes on site functions that must be performed in person. Position may be eligible for situational telework in accordance with agency policy/business unit discretion. The agency currently allows for 52 hours of telework per calendar year. You are passionate about performing cybersecurity compliance and system assessment and authorization activities and providing technical guidance throughout DevSecOps to ensure products are securely developed, deployed, monitored, and maintained. You are excited to serve as an Information System Security Officer (ISSO) and principal advisor to the designated System Owner on all matters involving the security and privacy posture of one or more products/information systems. You thrive on participating in special projects, serving as a project leader, as required and assigned.
