The primary purpose of this position is: To assess the information technology (IT) capabilities and security controls supporting Air Combat Command and the USAF's mission areas and making recommendations to ACC command, control communications, computers and intelligence (C4I) architectures.
Duties
DUTY 1: Performs analysis of intelligence systems to ensure security controls adequately protect the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of the information being processed. DUTY 2: Evaluates the application of emerging technologies supporting intelligence and information operations ensuring compatibility and interoperability with other ACC, Air Force, and DOD systems. DUTY 3: Develops policy, guidance, and required plans for the introduction of new information technology standards, hardware, and software into the AF SCI enterprise. DUTY 4: Administers the AF IC Security Programs and protects IT assets against unauthorized, accidental, or deliberate modification, disclosure, and destruction of data. DUTY 5: Performs as plans and policy advisor to functional users of information technology.
