Summary
You will serve as an IT Specialist (SYSADMIN) in the Business Operations Branch; Airborne Electronic Attack Systems Division; Electromagnetic Spectrum Warfare Department of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CENTER. This position is part of the Warfare Centers Personnel Demonstration Project. NT-05 is equivalent to GS-13/14. This position is salary capped at GS-13 Step 10 (currently $138,370). Duties
You will oversee the information assurance program of an information system or network.
You will manage information security implications within the organization or a specific program, to include strategic, personnel, infrastructure, requirements, policy enforcement, emergency planning, security awareness, and other resources.
You will perform maintenance and reporting of IA Vulnerability actions, Windows Server Update Service (WSUS) patches, Security Content Application Protocol (SCAP) tools and Retina scans on applicable assets.
You will design, develop, and field IT system software solutions for specific applications and/or systems of software applications.
You will conduct system administration, maintenance, and sustainment of Windows/Linux Systems used for the development of weapon systems, mission planning, and control software.
