Summary
This position is located in the Small Business Administration, Office of the Chief Information Officer in Chicago, IL. The primary purpose of this position is to serve as an Information Technology (IT) Data Management Engineer responsible for leading the planning, development, implementation, and administration of complex IT systems for the acquisition, storage, integration, transformation, analysis, sharing, and retrieval of data across the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA).
Duties
As a/an IT Specialist at the GS- 2210-14, some of your typical work assignments may include: Leads the planning, coordination, and execution of major IT data engineering projects, including new data management initiatives, ensuring alignment with business and mission requirements. Leads the development and execution of complex system testing strategies, configuration management plans, and quality assurance protocols. Leads and mentors project teams composed of technical specialist, analysts, and support staff. Assign tasks, monitors progress, and ensure deliverables meet quality expectations. Aligns project outcomes with agency-wide IT strategies, digital modernization goals, and mission priorities. Serves as the primary liaison between project teams, business units, vendors, and executive leadership.
Education

How you will be evaluated
