Summary
This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: Incumbent is an Information Technology Specialist for acquisition and contract administration of technology systems, supplies and professional and telecommunication services. Determines acquisition strategy for IT contracts using procurement methods. Located in Scott AFB, IL.
Duties
Identify information security risks to ensure Command business systems and information assets remain protected in accordance with cybersecurity, privacy, and governance requirements.
DoD and Army cybersecurity risk management practices to maintain compliance and strengthen the organization’s security posture.
Develop contract documentation and performance reports to support acquisition activities and monitor contractor compliance, violations, and deficiencies.
Conduct cybersecurity risk assessments, including vulnerability scanning and penetration testing, to evaluate system security and recommend corrective actions.
