Summary
This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: Lead for the Quality Assurance Team in the Construction Branch, is responsible for planning; directing and technically reviewing the quality assurance activities related to major and complex military and civil works construction program.
Duties
Serves as the leader for the Quality Assurance Team in the Construction Branch.
Serves as coach, facilitator and /or negotiator in coordinating team initiatives and in consensus building activities among team members.
Manages and conducts bidability, constructability, operability, and environmental compliance (BCOE) reviews on contract packages.
Provides technical advice and consulting services for the various construction disciplines by applying expert knowledge attained through years of construction experience.
