Duties
Serve as a co-equal panelist on the Bureau's Executive Assessment Panel, the body responsible for evaluating the leadership readiness of candidates for senior positions across the federal correctional system. Designs, develops, applies, and refines human resources (HR)-focused executive assessment methodologies that determine the suitability of leaders at the local, regional, and headquarters levels. These activities directly influence the selection of correctional executives whose decisions affect institutional safety, public safety, operational integrity, national policy implementation, and the credibility of the Federal Prison System. Ensures assessment practices reflect federal hiring law, merit system principles, and Bureau wide recruitment priorities.
Requirements
Career Transition Programs (CTAP or ICTAP): These programs apply to Federal and/or DOJ employees who meet the definition of surplus or displaced from a position in the competitive service.
