You will serve as a HUMAN RESOURCES SPECIALIST (EMPLOYEE RELATIONS) in the Total Force Management Directorate of COMPACFLT HUMAN RESOURCES OFFICE. Duties
You will serve as an Employee Relations Advisor for COMPACFLT Headquarters dispersed throughout Hawaii, Contiguous United States (CONUS), and Outside the Contiguous United States (OCONUS) locations.
You will serve as a technical expert and senior advisor to management on complex and often controversial employee relations issues.
You will provide guidance on matters including, but not limited to conduct and performance-based actions, employee grievances and appeals, and time and attendance matters.
You will track, manage, and advise management on probationary periods; justification and documentation applicability; and certification requirements.
You will research and analyze case law and develop recommendations for management on appropriate courses of action.
You will provide advice and guidance to management on harassment claims, including guidance and establishing parameters on conducting fact-finding and/or equivalent investigations.
You will provide counsel to management on alternative dispute resolution methods and strategies.
You will advise management on addressing and documenting performance issues, including developing performance improvement plans (PIPs).
