Summary
The position is in the Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service, MRP Business Services, Human Resources Division, HR Operations Branch. If selected for this position, you will serve as the Leave and Compensation Subject Matter Expert and, as such, provide expert technical advice and guidance to staff members, management, supervisors, and employees on a full range of human resources management program.
Duties
The duties may include, but are not limited to:
Provides expert advice on, and interpretation of, human resources rules and regulations, laws, and procedures so that a well-regulated salary and wage program is maintained to conform with applicable
Provides expert advice on a broad range of complex pay laws, regulations, policies and procedures and the applicability to various types of employment, tours of duty, leave entitlements, pay entitleme
Analyzes operational effects of new or existing regulations, recommends new or updated policies, and develops or revises procedures and implements as necessary.
Provides technical advice and guidance to Leave and Compensation Specialists and Civilian Pay Technicians about a variety of complex problems encountered in work assignments.
Provides advisory service to management and supervisors on extremely sensitive, complex, or controversial pay and leave issues.
