Summary

About the Position: This position is a DOD Cyber Excepted Service (CES) personnel system position in the Excepted Service under 10 USC 1599f. Employees occupying CES positions are in the Excepted Service and must adhere to U.S. Code, Title 10, as well as Department of Defense Instruction 1400.25. This position is located at the U.S. Army Network Enterprise Technology Command (NETCOM) Headquarters ACOFS G-4 Logistics Facility Engineer in Fort Huachuca, AZ.

Duties

Serve as a Network Enterprise Technology Command / NETCOM General Engineer.

Provide expert advice to the Commander on matters concerning facilities planning for Information Systems at NETCOM agencies.

Responsible for the master planning staff function of Real Property Maintenance Activities planning for military construction programming.

Use sound engineering management methods and coordination through staff, commanders, and other agencies to ensure appropriate quality and quantity of planning actions.

Serve as a staff engineering consultant on matters pertaining to the pre-design, design, construction, and operation of facilities required to support NETCOM global information systems operations.

Evaluate existing facilities, perform facility requirement analysis, and develop facility space requirements in support of stationing actions and in development of programming documents for new facilities.
