Duties

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY As a General Engineer, you will: Design, initiate, and conduct basic and applied research addressing mining health and safety issues. Lead and perform field and laboratory investigations, data collections, and technical assessments aimed at reducing mining-related injuries and fatalities Apply engineering principles, techniques, procedures, and equipment to develop applied solutions for occupational safety and health challenges. Utilize data-analysis methods and tools to accurately analyze, interpret, and communicate engineering and scientific findings. Plan, coordinate, and manage research projects to ensure successful completion by collaborating with industry stakeholders, contractors and cross-functional teams to provide relevant results in a timely manner.
