You will serve as a FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST in the COMPTROLLER DEPARTMENT of PEARL HARBOR NSY AND IMF. SALARY: GS-12: $93,445 - $121,482 GS-11: $77,964 - $101,359
Duties
You will be responsible for ensuring budget formulation and budget execution functions are in compliance with laws, regulations, policies and audit corrective action plans.
You will be responsible for Budget Execution of Overhead and monitoring Direct Material obligations and phasing plans, Certified Obligations, prior year closeout.
You will analyze and recommend costs and benefits of alternative methods of financial management.
You will monitor and reconcile budget authority and program execution, apply performance measures to identify assets, shortfalls, cost trends and other crucial variances.
You will provide advice on effective and efficient methods of acquisition and the use of funds to support the organizations programs and activities.
You will apply skill to the identification, analysis and conceptualization of budgetary problems and development of alternative solutions.
You will develop and implement automated reporting and reconciliation solutions using advanced analytical tools, and identifying process improvements that strengthen internal controls and financial reporting.
You will serves as a technical resource for audit support, financial reporting, and compliance with Department of Defense and Department of the Navy financial management requirements.
Education
