Summary
This position is located in Austin Texas within the Financial Payroll Service (FPS) at the Financial Services Center (FSC). Incumbent serves as an advisor and technical expert on financial systems and operations, customer service concepts, and budgeting.
Duties

Major Duties: Develops appropriate initiatives, metrics, and key performance indicators, oversee the development of the plan, coordinate input from the Service Director and FPS division Chiefs. Develops and coordinates with appropriate staff organizations and obtains approval of significant communication that has been prepared by signature by the FPS Service Director and/or FSC executive leadership team. Advises the FPS Director and provides recommendations in the decision-making process regarding FPS policies and regulations. Analyze information received from higher headquarters and using an expert knowledge of financial operations determines the information necessary to respond to the tasking accurately and quickly. Conducts planning meetings of FPS senior leadership, guides project teams developing initiatives and develops milestones and timelines for implementation of the strategic plan.
