The primary purpose of this position is to serve as the senior Lead Search and Rescue (SAR) and Personnel Recovery (PR) future operations staff office in the Operations Plans Division, Air, Space, and information. Operations Directorate, Air Forces Northern (AFNORTH/A3X). Incumbent is also the acknowledge subject matter expert (SME).
Duties
1.Coordinate, Integrate, and Synchronize SAR/PR policy, strategy, and operations for AFNORTH. Serve as the Air Force's Northern (AFNORTH) senior technical operations and plans staff officer for Search and Rescue (SAR) and Personnel Recovery (PR) support in the AFNORTH/A3. 2. Perform duties as a SAR/PR operations officer for the AFNORTH PRCC. 3. Lead deliberate and crisis action planning discussions, meetings, committees, and special projects; conducts and analyses, presents briefings, and prepares recommendations and reports. 4. Represent the AFNORTH Future Operations at Search and Rescue (SAR) and Personnel Recovery (PR) events.
