Summary
This position is being recruited under 10 USC 1599f into the Cyber Excepted Service and does NOT convey eligibility to be converted to the Competitive Service. It has been identified as a position necessary to carry out and support the mission of the US Cyber Command. It is in the Professional Work Category at the Senior Work Level within the CES Occupational Structure. It is located in the DISA WHITE HOUSE COMMUNICATIONS AGENCY.
Duties
Responsible for electrical engineering support, performing design, project programming and construction management/ monitoring duties relating to facilities, and overall management for buildings assigned to WHCA located in Washington, DC.
Analyzes and designs electrical alterations and modifications to existing facilities to meet the ever-changing demands of the agency.
Develops statements of work and other documents necessary to support contract solicitations from various contracting agencies
Develops short - and long- range facilities and infrastructure priorities and requirements.
Reviews/approves/schedules and coordinates utility outages (power, water, natural gas) with facility users, NPW Center, and utility providers.
Education
There is no substitution of education for the qualifying experience at the GG-14 grade level.
