Summary
This Full-Time position is with the Child and Youth Services (CYS) Middle School/Teen Center at Fort Greely, AK. Mission and weather essential. Relocation incentive available for this position. CYS Regular and FLEX employees (working a minimum of 15 hours) will receive a 100% discount on childcare for their first child and at least 25% for each additional child. Duties
Incumbent is responsible for the administration of the facility to include implementation of budgeting and financial management, personnel management, program operations, special needs, and compliance, among other tasks.
Serves as a first level supervisor for assigned staff. Supervises staff to include assigning work, conducting performance reviews and approving leave. Makes decisions on work and administrative issues presented by subordinate supervisors.
Ensures the implementation of a developmentally appropriate CYS program that promotes the social, emotional, physical, and cognitive growth of children and youth.
Provides program oversight and accountability for the performance of employees and the safety of children in accordance with Federal, DoD, Service, and local policies and standards.
Ensures the program complies with legal and regulatory requirements and meets customer needs. Prepares and executes Appropriated fund (APF) and Nonappropriated Fund (NAF) budgets for the center.
