Summary
You will serve as an Administrative/Technical Specialist in the Naval Weapons Br, Weapon Systems Fleet Engineering Div, Expeditionary Warfare Weapons & Energy Systems Dept of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CENTER. The salary range shown above represents all of the positions within the band, including high grade positions. This is not a high grade position; therefore, the salary may be limited to a GS-13 Step 10 (currently $138,370). The NT-05 pay band encompasses positions equivalent to the GS-13/14
Duties
You will be responsible for the Fleet Support Team (FST), supporting both US Navy (USN) and Foreign Military Sales (FMS) customers.
You will provide lifecycle logistics support by developing, maintaining, and overseeing the development and maintenance of logistics product.
You will participate in and present at events such as LOGCELL (Critical Item Review), Obsolescence Program Review (OPR), Logistics Program Process Review (LPPR), and Program Management Reviews (PMRs).
You will coordinate with NAVSUP to create and/or support existing nomenclature assignments, NIIN assignments, and provisioning data.
You will provide support to engineering evaluations of 339 and Critical Item Management (CIM) cases.
You will track and input depot TD information in DECKPLATE per certificates of conformance.
You will serve as the Technical Data Authority (TDA) for publications in both NATEC and JDRS.
You will support Class 1 and Class 2 Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs), Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) reviews, Statement of Work (SOW) creation, and the Systems Engineering Technical Review (SETR) Process, as required.
You will provide input, as required, on depot and production-related activities.
You will be responsible for training, coordinating, and mentoring team members—including logistics management specialists, engineers, and technicians—on naval logistics processes to ensure product and process consistency.
