Summary
This vacancy announcement may be used to fill positions at various Department of the Navy Commands, including but not limited to the Naval Nuclear Propulsion Program (NNPP - NAVSEA 08) of the Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA). Salary Range by Geographic Location: Idaho Falls, ID - $61,722 to $116,362 Schenectady, NY - $63,678 to $120,050 Pittsburgh, PA - $63,815 to $120,309 Washington, D.C. - $70,623 to 133,142 The BR-02 pay band is equivalent to the GS-09/11/12 grade levels.
Duties
You will prepare regular and special reports and memoranda such as time and attendance and appointment schedules.
You will review all types of directives, policy statements, memoranda, sensitive communications, and correspondence to ensure they are submitted as complete and accurate documents.
You will manage all files and provide support as needed to ensure record management requirements for federal records are met.
You will coordinate travel plans with accurate travel estimates, ensuring no conflict with local, high priority commitments.
You will arrange conferences and meetings for leadership and management team including notifying participants, preparing agenda, and handling other logistics-related matters.
You will verify and confirm appointments, and reschedule appointments when necessary.
Education
In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience: successful completion of a master's or equivalent graduate degree; -OR- successful completion of two full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a master's degree; -OR- obtained an LL.B. or J.D. that is related to the position being filled; -OR- a combination of experience and graduate education as described above that equates to one year of experience.
