Duties
Serves as an Accountant in a Regional Office of the Federal Bureau of Prisons (BOP). Facilitator and interpreter of bureau policies and procedures applicable to the accounting operations of field installations located within the Region. Has oversight responsibilities for the accounting operations of field installations and the Regional Office. Monitors the accuracy and completeness of accounting data entered into the automated Financial Management Information System (FMIS) by the field installations.
